Take the Challenge – List Your Top Five
by Ngozi Osuagwu, MD | January 21st, 2019

I do not think that I can ever get tired of listening to Dr. Martin Luther King’s speeches. This year I challenged myself to pick my top five favorite quotes. Below are my top five with my interpretation.
“The time is right to do what is right”– You should stop procrastinating on what you need to do.
“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk, then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward”– there is no excuse why you cannot do something. You must find a way to do what is important for you.
“No person has the right to rain on your dream”– Although no one has the right, there will still be nay-sayers around you. Try to avoid negative people.
“Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole staircase”– sometimes it is scary to take chances, but you just have to do it.
“If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way” – we can all make a difference.
Happy Dr. Martin Luther King’s Day! Take the challenge and write down your top five and what it means to you.
