MLK and Health

Although Dr. Martin Luther King was not a physician, he had some words of wisdom that was good for our health.
“Forgiveness is not an occasional act. It is a permanent attitude.”
There have been studies that have shown that forgiveness can lower your heart rate and blood pressure and relief stress. Learn to let go. I know it is difficult, but it can truly make a difference in your health.
“If you can’t fly, then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”
Let us make the effort to overcome the barriers that are preventing us from eating healthy, exercising regularly or getting enough sleep. We cannot worry about what happened in the past but let us make the effort now.
“The time is always right to do what is right.”
There is no time better than the present to get us on the right track towards good health.
Happy Martin Luther King Day !
